Write-In Affidavit

• K.S.A. 25-305
• A person who wishes to run as a write-in candidate for national, state, county or a 1st class city office, MUST file an affidavit of write-in candidacy to have those votes tabulated.
• Write-In Candidates for County and 1st Class Cities will file at the County Clerk's Office.
• All other Candidates will file at the Secretary of States Office.
• The deadline to file the affidavits is at NOON on the fourth Monday preceding an General Election.
