Road and bridge maintain the county's infrastructure that, which includes maintenance of roads and rights-of-way:

• Miami County offers residents the opportunity to coordinate dust abatement. 
  • This year Browning Dust Control will be accepting applications. Applications for dust abatement can be made by calling Browning Dust Control at 573-822-8370 now through May 1st. You may also email them at browningfamilyent.com.
• Installation of driveway entrances

• Maintain records of all activities in public service
• Capital improvements
  • Assist in the administration of the Capital Improvement Program
  • Acquire right-of-way
  • Assist in the Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) Local Road Improvement Program
• Maintenance and construction of bridges
• Review plats and subdivisions
